Issues and Priorities

Lower Taxes & Increased Home Ownership

Property taxes are too high, and Montanans are being taxed out of their homes. Seniors on fixed incomes and working families are paying the price for unchecked government spending, while young Montanans are finding it harder than ever to afford a first home. In the Legislature, I will fight to lower property taxes by capping government growth, reassessing inflated home valuations, and lowering property tax rate. I also support expanding the supply of single-family homes by cutting outdated zoning and building regulations, while supporting responsible assistance for first-time home buyers. Montanans should be able to afford to live in the place they grew up, raise a family, and retire with dignity.

Affordability & Government Accountability

Everything is getting more expensive, and runaway government spending is a big reason why. When politicians grow government without restraint, families pay the price through higher taxes, higher fees, and a higher cost of living. Montana families are tightening their belts, and state government should do the same. In the Legislature, I will fight for a government that focuses on essential services, limits unnecessary spending, and pushes back against the swamp and bureaucracy. State government must answer to Montanans, not special interests or career politicians.

Education

As a product of Montana public schools who has worked on education policy alongside parents and teachers, I have seen where our system is succeeding and where it is losing the trust of families. Parents are concerned that classrooms are drifting away from academics and toward political and social agendas that do not reflect Montana values or respect parental rights. Schools should focus on the fundamentals and prepare students to succeed, not push divisive Left-wing theories. In the Legislature, I will defend parents’ rights to know what their children are being taught and to have a real voice in their education. I will strongly advocate for the integrity of all educational opportunities in Montana and ensure students and parents have the support they need.

Immigration

In the Legislature, I will take a strong stand against illegal immigration and uncontrolled migration into Montana, which are driving up housing costs and straining our communities. Those who come to Montana must do so legally and respect our culture and way of life. I will work with law enforcement to enforce our immigration laws and advocate for English-language requirements in state government. My priority is to protect Montana families, preserve our values, and ensure that Montana remains a place where law, order, and community come first.

Public Safety

We deserve to feel safe in our homes, schools, and community. I stand firmly with law enforcement and will fight to give them the resources, support, and respect they need to do their jobs effectively. I will crack down on drug and human trafficking, which have torn apart too many Montana families and communities.

Republican Values

Polsonites, rural Montanans, and families across the state have consistently supported conservative Republican leadership in Helena. Too often, Democrats have run as Republicans undermining the will of the voters. Our Supreme Court has also repeatedly blocked legislation that Montanans overwhelmingly support. In the Legislature, I will fight for judicial reform to ensure a judiciary that is accountable to Montana, upholds the law, and resists partisan agendas. I will defend the integrity of the Republican Party and make certain our candidates stay true to the conservative platform they pledge to represent.
