About Finley

I am a sixth-generation Montanan and a Christian conservative running for the Montana House of Representatives in District 13. I was raised by my parents, Chris and Lori, alongside my younger brother, Ash, in a home grounded in hard work, faith, freedom, and patriotism. My family has deep roots across Montana and in Polson, where my grandparents first came in the 1960s. Growing up in Montana and around Flathead Lake shaped who I am and how I see the Montana way of life. Polson is my home, and I am committed to protecting the personal responsibility, neighborly spirit, and Montana values that define it.

I have spent the past four years working in Republican politics across Western Montana. That work included helping elect conservative candidates, assisting with constituent services, and advocating for policies that reflect the priorities of Montana families. Through this experience, I learned how state government directly affects everyday life and why strong, principled representation matters, especially for rural communities that are too often overlooked.

My time in Montana’s public schools sparked an early interest in public policy. I saw how ideological agendas and poor decision making can weaken education and harm Montana families. That experience drove me to get involved at the legislative level. During the last two Legislative Sessions, I served as a citizen advocate helping shape both the Montana Republican Party Platform and Montana law. I worked with lawmakers and grassroots leaders to advance conservative priorities, including advocating for legislation focused on lowering the state income tax, expanding educational opportunities, and fighting back against radical left-wing ideology.

Polson voters deserve a representative whose actions match their words. I will not support woke ideology in schools, reckless spending, or policies that encourage illegal immigration. I will fight for real property tax reform, parental rights, reduced government spending and waste, strong law enforcement, and a state government that puts Montana first.
